Titre : Percursos : Barro Negro, Castanho, Ferro, Granito Type de document : texte imprimé Editeur : Matosinhos Câmara Municipal Année de publication : 2012 Importance : 61 p. Présentation : ill. en coul. Accompagnement : 1 livret traduction en allemand ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-972-9143-74-8 Langues : Portugais (por) Catégories : Burkhardt, Linde Résumé : Linde Burkhardt’s exhibition features the artist reinterpretation of the black ceramic of Molelos (Viseu district).
Organized into three main topics entitled “origin”, “inspiration” and “poetry” it features 4 tapestries (inspired by Fernando Pessoa’s poetry) and 14 sculptures made of ceramic and wood. The traditional objects are displayed over sockets recalling small altars, highlighting the functionality of each object, while the new ones, designed by the artist, combine a certain contemporaneity to ancestral quality and gracefulness.
Linde Burkhardt, who got to know Portugal by the hand of Siza Vieira, dedicates this exhibition to the architect and wishes to disseminate black ceramics near a younger public through the updating of techniques and production methods. Another aspect of her passion for our country is the influence of Fernando Pessoa’s writings which lead her to draw 4 tapestries inspired by quotes by the poet and his heteronyms.
The purpose is to raise the awareness to the importance of recovering secular practices and knowledge, with innovative and socially responsible works in the field of design, arts and crafts as a way to explore alternatives to the standardization of industrial production, and simultaneously increasing the local economies.Intitulé de l'exposition : Percursos Date de début : 18/02/2012 Date de fin : 20/03/2012 Ville : Matosinhos(Portugal) Lieu de l'exposition : Galeria Municipal de Matosinhos En ligne : http://www.cm-matosinhos.pt/pages/3?event_id=1778 Permalink : https://grandhornu.docressources.org/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9031 Percursos : Barro Negro, Castanho, Ferro, Granito [texte imprimé] . - Portugal : Matosinhos Câmara Municipal, 2012 . - 61 p. : ill. en coul. + 1 livret traduction en allemand.
